Privacy notice

How Peety collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data — and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Peety is operated by Clowd9 AI.

1.What we collect & why

We collect only what a booking and a safe session need. Processing rests on your consent, except where the law allows a legitimate use (e.g. responding to a safety emergency) or requires us to keep records (e.g. tax).

Mobile numberTo sign you in (one-time code) and send booking, payment and reminder messages.

Name & date of birthTo identify you, confirm you’re 18+, and (optionally) wish you on your birthday.

Location — home address & GPSOnly for at-home sessions: to match a nearby trainer and to confirm you’re at the session location at check-in.

Payment detailsProcessed by our payment gateway (Razorpay); we store only a reference and your invoice.

Fitness preferencesGoals, intensity and what you’d rather avoid — used to personalise sessions only if you turn personalisation on. These are preferences, not medical data; we never ask for health conditions.

Family / emergency contactsA name + mobile you add so you can book sessions for them and so they can be alerted if an SOS is raised during a session.

Trainers only — ID & bankGovernment ID for verification (we store a masked value only, never the full number) and payout details.

2.Your rights & how to use them

Under DPDP you can, at any time:

Access a copy of your data — download it from your account.
Correct your details — edit them in your account, or ask our Grievance Officer.
Erase your data — delete your account from your account. We keep only what the law requires (e.g. tax invoices) for the statutory period.
Withdraw consent — turn off personalisation or marketing in your account; it’s as easy to turn off as on.
Raise a grievance — contact our Grievance Officer (below); you can escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

3.Consent & marketing

Transactional messages (booking, payment, reminders, safety) are part of the service. Marketing or promotional messages are sent only if you opt in, and you can opt out anytime. If you add a family member, we’ll send them a one-time note explaining who added them and how to opt out — they’re only contacted for their own session reminders or a safety SOS.

4.Who we share with

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Peety, under contract and only for these purposes:

Payment gateway (Razorpay) — to take payment and issue invoices.
Messaging providers — to send SMS/WhatsApp/push. Some may process data outside India.
Maps (Ola Maps) — to find your address and nearby trainers.
Hotels — partner hotels see aggregate figures only; no individual guest details ever reach the hotel.
Your trainer — your first name and, if you’ve opted in, a short session brief.

5.How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose, then delete it. When you delete your account there’s a short grace period, after which we purge your data — retaining only records the law requires us to keep, such as tax invoices, for the statutory period. One-time codes expire within minutes.

6.Children

Peety is for adults (18+) only. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and family members you add must be adults.

7.Grievance Officer / Data Protection Officer

8.Changes to this notice

We’ll update this notice as Peety evolves and, for material changes, let you know in the app. This is a plain-language summary of our practices; it isn’t legal advice.
